Mavs are better than the Hornets.

Quit living in 07-08 when the Hornets were hitting a bunch of bullshite shots.

Mavs started the year 2-7, had significant injuries all year, and still finished with a better record than the Hornets, who had no significant injuries all year.

Some humility is in order.

but that was Houston, you know, the Houston that can't win a playoff series without Hakeem.

maybe the Mavs play well when down 2-0. they don't do to well when up 2-0......................................DWADE says so.

Isn't points in the paint allowed an ingredient of "toughness"? The Hornets are allowing a league best 35.2 points per game in the paint. GSW is last at 48.6. Points in the paint allowed

are you just basing this b/c they won one more game this year than them, b/c the mavs usually play really well against the Hornets, and CP3 usually doens't do well against the Mavs.

you had one injury to your 3rd best player.
Hornets had an injury to their 3rd best player too.

i don't know who made injury excuses though, every team has to deal with injuries.
hornets aren't deep at all, matter fact they don't even have a decent starting 5. injuries didn't help but they aren't an excuse b/c you should have comparable backups that can fill in and have other roll players step up when injuries happen.
Hornets don't have that for some reason.

So let me understand....

A guy who in 2007-08 scores 16 ppg in 35 minutes per game last season misses a month and a half worth of games.

Another guy who in 07-08 averages 12 points/12 boards misses half the season.

These guys are scrubs huh?

Dirk missed a game, Kidd missed a game.

Terry missed 8 games.

J-Ho missed nearly 30.

That's more significant than guys like David West, Tyson Chandler, and Peja missing games.

What's Peja done since he's cameback? Nothing.

David West? addition by subtraction

Tyson Chandler? Likewise.

Mavs aren't soft, they have championship pedigree and mental toughness, two things the Hornets lack.

If the Hornets started 2-7 this year, they would've spiraled into a 35-47 year. Mavs turned it around and won 50, more than the Hornets can say.

No way would the Hornets win a Game 7 in San Antonio, hell they can't even win a Game 7 in New Orleans, and they let fricking Pargo try and win the game for them.

No way do the Hornets come back from 2-0 down having to win 2 games in Houston.

Mavs are mentally tougher than Hornets.

Mavs aren't mentally tough. They are the first #1 seed to lose to a #8 seed. Shows how tough they are. LOL @ Dirk for having to walk into Oracle and accept his fraud MVP trophy in front of the garbage team that ended his season. The 2006 Mavs were a fraud.

Just heard them say Marv Albert and Reggie Miller are our broadcasters. Isn't that their top pairing?

So I guess N.O. got a trophy and ring for this accomplishment.

why aren't people getting excited for the hornets like they do if the saints would make the playoffs. This team struggled and still made the playoffs
