LOL, Laugh if you want, Babe Ruth was the best Left handed pitcher in the AL, than became the best hitter of all time ! If he stayed a pitcher, he would have been a Hall of fame PITCHER ! LOL, Bonds ? CHEATER !

No, he was good, he didn't have to cheat to be good, but he did. Now unlike Junior, who Never cheated, what could his stats be IF he cheated just like Barry did ! LOL, Jr was a LOT better than BB !

Probably not as good, considering he wasn't as good as Barry in the '90s when neither were on steroids.

Even sports writers who hate Barry Bonds say he's a first ballot HoFer even if you take out all the post steroid years. The guy is one of the top 5 best baseball players ever and always was.
500 HRs and 500 stolen bases is a lonely club with Bonds being the only member.

This ISN'T WHAT IS BEING DEBATED.
Who cares if he gets into the hall because sportswriters decide that they're the moral arbiters of baseball. I don't. He's one of if not the best hitter of all time.
I of course am throwing out the steroid usage in the same way one might throw out the fact that early eras didn't play against black competition. It's part of the game at the time I guess.
His peak years though, were the best offensive seasons in baseball history and that's not even close.

What you young guys fail to understand is Baseball is all about stats, stats matter. Ruth, Mantle, Mays, Aaron, Gibson, their records matter, they did it without roids. Look what the HR totals, RBI and other stats are now, as opposed to the roid years ! Do you think it's fair to Aaron, Mays or Mantle ? I don't. We can agree to disagree here. Good night !
