If you go by National Championships the past 4 years like what the SEC did during their reign then you can truthfully say yes

What can the SEC do to become the best football conference again?

I thought I could get different perspectives on here

Everyone on the Rant would take this as a personal attack and become defensive

I would rather admit the truth and see what people think is the reason why the SEC has fallen

I believe it is because of the idea that it is Bama against everyone

The SEC became great when Bama was down but when Bama became good again I believe the SEC went down

That wasn't the only reason the SEC was the king.

I doubt it.

Acc had two good teams win. Jameis and clem.

Don't see much else to brag on.

SEC won with tebow, lsu, auburn and bama. In most of those years the sec west had two other good teams.

So no. Ps. Yo mama.

Hire better coaches for starters.

The ACC has not replaced the SEC yet, but the gap is certainly closing.

The coaches they have added to the conference the last three years I believe has made the difference

At the end of the year you can say they had 5 or maybe 6 decent teams

Including FSU, Miami, Va Tech, Pittsburgh and Clemson
With Louisville as a maybe

Let's go by National Championships the last 6 years instead.

SEC is better.

You have to go by players still playing and coaches still coaching

How many players are left in the SEC from 2012 and 2013 let alone coaches

Since the 2012 season more than half of the SEC has changed coaches

Not close, as the SEC still has great depth and even cupcakes are formidable. Not so much in the ACC.

That being said, the coaching hires has the ACC going in the right direction.

NO, top to bottom the SEC is still the best conference in all of cfball. A few conferences have 1 or 2 stout teams but after that, P-yew.

I mean come on pitt, vtech, unc, duke, lol....no.

Hell the sec did better than the acc in basketball this playoff season.
