Denver has beaten LA 9 times in a row, dating back to March 2 of last year.

Interestingly, the Lakers have had more free throw attempts in every single game.

May 16, 2023 (ECF, Game 1)
Nuggets 17-22
Lakers 23-26

May 18, 2023 (Game 2)
Nuggets 16-18
Lakers 23-26

May 20, 2023 (Game 3)

Lakers 22-29

May 22, 2023 (Game 4)
Nuggets 19-22
Lakers 23-26

Oct. 24, 2023 (Reg. Season)
Nuggets 9-12
Lakers 15-20

Feb. 8, 2024

April 20, 2024 (First Round, Game 1)

I'm not even going to engage in conspiracy theories. I'm just amazed at the weirdness of this.

Basketball is the most flawed sport because of free throws and foul calls

Lakers lead the league in FT attempts, and the refs will try to keep them in every game.

it’s not weird the Lakers have the largest FT differential in the league by a mile.

they are 2nd in Attempts and Attempts agains.

it’s also hard to rack up fouls when you don’t play a lot of defense
