If you'd interact with the Penn State fanbase in person, you'd understand where I'm coming from. Plus, the players had the option to transfer. Why should I feel bad that they didn't?
eta. I completely respect their decision to stay by the way. Doesn't mean I feel sorry that they will suck arse this year and plenty years to follow.

Nope. I don't. They had their chance to transfer and yet decided to stick around for this.
I know I couldn't
I feel sorry for, and at the same time respect the shite out of those players

feel sorry for O'Brien? Not quite
$2.3 million per year thru 2020, regardless of how bad his team sucks
quote:
his 2012 compensation reportedly calls for a base salary of $950,000, plus $1 million from television and ad revenue and $350,000 from Penn State's deal with Nike, but the contract he signed in early February included a clause that called for Penn State to automatically extend the deal by the number of years equal to any possible NCAA sanctions. The university now is bound to him, and he to it, through the 2020 season.

If LSU had systematically enabled a Pedophile then yes, I would transfer. No question about it.
