Dude the Lakers were getting raped by the officials Wednesday night. I woulda been pissed too.

And I'm not saying that Kobe doesn't get his calls, because he does, but to deny that LeBron gets more calls than ANY other player in the NBA is just dishonesty.

This is just a thought, I don't have the time to look it up right now, but I'm willing to bet that Kobe benefits from being in the bonus more than just about any other player. The Lakers' bigs draw fouls at a ridiculous rate (from the games I've watched this season), and considering how frequently he has the ball, I bet he shoots a decent amount of bonus free throws.

LeBron takes the ball to hole as much as anyone in the game. And he's huge. It's hard to stop him, so people foul, whether they mean to or not.

Kobe is a long jumpshooter/post-up jump shooter. He doesn't drive to the hole anywhere near as much as LeBron, yet only shoots 1.4 less free throws per game despite playing 5 less minutes per game than LeBron.

It's blatantly obvious to anyone who knows the game.

All I can find is last year, but the Lakers were 18th in the league in opponent's fouls.

LINK

So if that's any indication of this year, not really.

Yea, like I said it was just a thought.

I guess I got used to watching the hornets foul the Lakers' bigs repeatedly just so they could hold on for dear life.

Derrick Rose goes 10-23 from the field today.

Crownless went 4-14.

Nope. Doesn't matter.

Rose went to the line 14 more times than his season average. 14! Because if this, his great game is nullified.

I'll remember that the next time Lebron scores 20 + points after making only 4 field goals.

At least Kobe led his team to the Finals. What did LeBron do?

Many of Kobe's freethrows come at the end of the game with the Lakers up by a few points while the other team is "sending the Lakers to the line" to stop the clock.

That's not the same as getting bogus calls throughout a game imo. And as I stated earlier:

Lebron has the highest FTA per game in NBA post season history, even higher that Shaq with all his hack-a-shaq days.

The Lakers are in the bottom half of the league in terms of opponent's fouls per game.

Much higher, which means they are in the bonus more than the Lakers. Meaning some of their free throws are in the bonus in late game situations.
