I'm waiting for the Tulane fans to tell me there should only be big bowl games like the Cotton Bowl.

Superback!

We didn't want to have to do this to Rice but they've left us no choice.

Personally I think there are too many bowl games and they should only play the big ones like the Cotton Bowl

Forced? Are you trying to say high school girls aren't excited to be able to take in the LendingTree Bowl between Rice and Southern Miss?

This bowl has existed for most of the players lifetimes, so it has some stories.

‘01 Marshall-ECU stands out. Or Big Ben taking on Louisville. One time TCU lost but LT still got the game MVP.

These bowl games matter despite what the boomers on here say. It’s more reps for young players and the exposure helps recruiting.

Not only that… but college football is awesome. The more games the better in my opinion

It's my favorite sport. I'll watch some NFL, college basketball, and baseball but it's always sad after the national championship game to realize just how long it is before I get to watch another college football game.

It’s hard to keep up with the ones that have exclusively sponsor names. It’d be nice if it was the Crab Bowl or something.

I was shocked to hear the Las Vegas Bowl was 30 years old when I heard that earlier today. I don't know if they had another name or not at one point.

Big drive there. Brownlee is a player.

Now hold on, and ol Tom will be up to 6-1 in the bowl pool

Gore Jr. With almost 250 yards. Seems like his dad has only been out of the league for 2 or 3 years.
