Lock him up Jerra. You could do way worse . But I really don’t think he can deliver a SB

As usual, the Cowboys play an easy schedule. His rating should go up even more this weekend.

How long y’all gonna keep moving the goalposts for Dak? As someone who averred that Dak relied primarily on Zeke and the o-line the last 3 years, his accomplishments throwing the football three first two weeks caused me to rethink my position and acknowledge him for who he truly is at this point: a top 5 QB in football.

How about thread title and eye test? His performance against the LA Rams defense when they shut Zeke down’s sufficient enough.

I meant give me your list.

266 yards on 62% completions for 1 TD really blew you away, huh? Good enough for top 5 based on that one game?

ETA: PFF’s review of the game.
quote:

The Dallas offensive line did an excellent job in pass protection to keep Dak Prescott clean and rarely pressured. It’s even more of a feat with Aaron Donald on the other side of the ball. While he did make a couple splash plays, they kept him from being anywhere near as dominant has he has been most of the season.

Overall, Prescott just didn’t play well enough for the Cowboys to win. His misread on a short hitch in the left flat was one of the worst throws in the league this season. However, instead of the possibility of a pick-six to extend a Rams’ lead, Prescott lucked out that Samson Ebukam dropped the easy interception. He played better late in the game, particularly when he was given a chance to use his legs more, but still had some inaccurate passes that were impactful.

Higher QBR than the QB who won that game (and was assisted by a better running game performance to boot)

Disclaimer: this is a rough list as I haven't used much time to figure 2-5 after determining 1 and accounts for current QB injuries

1. Mahomeboy
2. TB12
3. Russell Wilson
4. Deshaun Watson
5. Dak

Honorable mention: Baker, Kyler, Rivers, Rodgers (ETA)

Rodgers not even a top 8 QB anymore? Brees nowhere to be seen? Clown show.

= top 5 off that one game alone? You cited a game where he didn’t even play well. Step up your game, son.

In addition to his performance first two games of the season because he began to emerge as a viable QB unto himself after the trade last season and really make a breakthrough during that Philly OT game, was simply sensational so it's all continued to increase like a snowball down the hill, natural progression

No no no.

But hell, for the sake of argument, let’s expand it to include the last 2 games. He played great against two bad teams. Let’s hold off a minute before we crown him.

And I fully expect him to have an incredible season with the talent around him and the new system.

I mean it's the LA Rams with Donald, Suh, Brockers, Marcus Peters, they shut down Zeke, and it's the high stakes, if that's not sufficient enough when he outperformed Goff then what are we talking about here?
