There's a percentage of the population that will never get it.
Do I think tennessee and Texas are better than Boise state and Arizona state? Of course. Do I think that means Boise state and Arizona should have a tougher road to winning and not have a bye? Absolutely not, they won their league, for someone to be better they should have to beat them at their home or on a neutral site.
They should have to lose their advantage of winning their conference, not have it preemptively taken away because I think texas is better
