haha, its a percentage of your overall total bet so obviously it is "cheaper". that doesnt make it smarter or necessary...

small bets should be an insignificant impact on ones bankroll that it should not influence he/she to "buy" points. my one unit plays are mostly for entertainment, if i bought points on entertainment plays in the long run that would be bad capping.

on the other hand, if i placed a 5 unit bet (which is $275 to win $250 in my case); then hell yeah i would strongly consider buying points to compensate for the large sum of money potentially lost.
