NBA officials are ruining both conference finals. These are potentially two great series'.
I've refereed basketball before, it's hard but, I honestly think on my worst night, I can do better than a lot of these guys.
The original foul on Perkins should have never been called. The only time you whistle something like that is if the game's getting way out of control from a physical standpoint, to restore some order. This is not the case in this game. The technical foul was even worse.

I think Jeff Van Gundy had a point. The ref may have actually forgotten that Perkins already had a technical, because NO ref in the NBA would eject a player based on that.

Howard is getting special treatment tonight. He runs around running into guys and then the Celtics get the foul. That foul on Rasheed was the same way. Rasheed was just standing there and Howard lunges into him to get position. Quick whistle on Rasheed.

If that is his 7th and he is suspended for game 6 (if there is a game 6) that would be huge.
But I doubt that happens and the NBA will go back and rescind that last tech, which they should.

Why is Howard allowed to be bowling ball out there. But Rasheed can't breathe on anybody. That wasn't a foul on Rasheed.
