Two walks to start the inning (PC in between: Kravitz for Otto). Runner at second advanced to third on ball in dirt because no one was covering third.. Jon Washam hits groundball to third. Runner at third out trying to score. Appeared to be safe, but umpire calls him out. One out. Runners at 1st and second. Lunceford fouls out to third. 2 out. Gladu singled to center. One run scores. Runners at 1st and third. Holcombe pinch hits and hits a deep flyball to center but the CF tracks it down.
Mid 8 9-10

Seriously... At least Tech's pitching staff isn't depleted thanks to Ahlrich. Even if they do lose, the fight they showed in this game bodes well for the rest of the tourney imo.

First pitch driven to deep right that requires a running stab catch by the RF, but that retires the side.

What a game. 4 hours. No extra innings. 4 hours. Way to fight dawgs. So now Tech plays the loser of Charlotte and FAU tomorrow at 9 AM. Rice plays the winner of that game at 4 PM.
