maybe we can resign Wilson Betemit to play 3rd this off season. Problem solved.

He's hitting .341 in 150 AB's, I'm calling it now.

All joking aside I liked Wilson a lot when he was here.

But really does anyone see us doing anything big this off-season? We'll let go of Glaus (remember when we were wondering if he would cost too much ) and bring up Freddie, which is fine with me. Other than that I'm sure they'll make some solid moves but nothing huge. Were just not going to spend much money.

I guess its fine as long as we don't start trading our young talent cause we can't afford to resign them.

Nope the Braves are not gonna do much. Won't have much money to spend with Chip in limbo. They'll get rid of Wags salary as well as Saito's and Troy's and use that money for arbitration bumps. We'll likely have to add payroll next year just to make small moves but I don't see any reason why we wouldn't after a playoff year

Good thing is they won't have many holes to fill. Bullpen spots can be filled in house. They'll pretty much have to give Nate another chance unless they can find someone to take him. A RF middle of the lineup hitter is something they're gonna need desperately but idk how they'll get it

Should be a pretty quiet offseason though for the most part. They'll shop Lowe and KK around and try to get rid of one of them but won't be much else besides that
