No, he doesn't. He doesn't realize that they would still have an $18 million cap hit from the dead money of the signing bonus.
He doesn't realize that his base salary is only $8 million, $9 million, and $10 million for the remainder of his contract.
He doesn't realize that what he quoted makes it way LESS likely that he gets cut this year.
He also doesn't realize that he's an idiot.
