MWC is the Georgetown of conferences. Their teams get overhyped then all lose first round (Colorado State exception)

Mildly amused that conference accomplishments apparently are important for B1G fans...when discussing basketball. But with football they are disregarded

Who said they werent important in football? I cheer for B1G in every big non-conference game and in bowl games...but I would never cheer for Michigan to win a national title; that's my line

I root against all Big Ten schools not named Northwestern in any sport. Always hated the rah rah for a conference.

It's stupid in my mind. I wouldn't find any satisfaction in a B1G school winning a national championship if its not Ohio State. To me, it's like cheering for one of your buddies because he was able to bang the girl you were going after.

The only thing about cheering for conference is, I will say it helps your perception which helps your seeding.
If you go 12-7 or whatever in the best conference versus a middle conference it helps change your perception.
