I'm heading up to the Monday and Tuesday practice rounds. I'm interested in seeing the redesigned front nine at Quail Hollow.

I'll be there on Sunday. Bought tickets last year through a friend who got an early discounted rate. It'll almost feel like it's free since I paid so long ago.

It'll be my first tournament, don't really know what to do or expect. Should I follow a group or post up at one particular hole?

If you have a favorite golfer or golfers, go follow him around. I like to sit at a tee box at a par 3 and watch them hit towards the hole. My first time at Qual, so I have to figure out the layout. If your able to sit at a green with multiple views/vantage of other holes...camp out there.

I do want to add, if you're able to get better level tickets, get them (parking, access to clubs, etc-better bathrooms, air conditioning tents, access to better concessions). Be prepared to bring alot of money, the concession and food is expensive.

I'll be working it for TV. Probably gonna be there 10-14 days. Can't wait to see what the PGA does to the course, not that it needs much. Great track. The tee shot on 18 is intimidating as hell.

If you can get a spot around 17 green, grab it. From there, you can keep up with the action at 14, 15, 16 and 17.

18 gets REAL crowded, but it's a GREAT finishing hole.

Most of the course is spectator friendly.
