The guy has won 3 straight Indy car championships. Ignoring the McLaren contract dispute, why won’t another team like Williams (who’s in need of another driver) sign him?
Guy’s a serious talent.

He's not going to sign for williams for the rest of the year. They have Sainz coming in next season.

Huh, Williams has a driver lineup through 2025 at least

Going between series isn’t necessarily beneficial. Could Palou come in and do well in F1? Sure. But prior experience is no guarantee of success.
Some things about Indy cars f1 drivers would struggle with and vice versa.for Indy Cars, they don’t have true power steering.
Main thing off the top of my sleep deprived mind is Indy Car is a spec series. Learning to drive in a constructer series when your car can change so much week by week or day by day and its handling can change so much is something you see a lot of talented F1 drivers have.
How many times do they get on the radio to say their car is shite? Every single race. You also have a lot of talent that gets spit out because they’re stuck in shitty cars and just have no hope of doing anything for years at a time. One of the primary keys to success in F1 is choosing the right team at the right time.

Ah, forgot about Sainz…just like Mercedes and Red Bull did. Audi maybe? I mean Indy has relatively equal cars and if he can dominate like that, that’s one less variable for F1 teams to be concerned about…

Nobody wants to be in that future Audi car right now.
