I would guess he will do just that after every game he plays, win, lose, or draw.
I don't like the media lovefest he gets, but he is who he is. I don't understand why people think he just puts on some facade when the camera is on him.

And I certainly didn't make Brady Quinn into a suck machine. Sometimes these things happen naturally. I can't take credit for everything. And really, just thank me once a year. On Christmas. You know how often Tiger Woods would finish out of the top 10 and still get 90% of the coverage of a golf tourney? Hell, he STILL gets 90% of the coverage even when he misses a freaking cut!
That's the way popularity works. And, given how little he's done on an NFL field thus far, yeah, it's over the top. But damn, I'm not going to get a bunch of sand in my pussy about it.

I don't think this is a phony marketing tool. But enough is freaking enough. He just pulled a game out of his arse that he sucked at for 3 1/2 quarters against a winless team that is deliberately trying to blow games so that they can get Andrew Luck.
