Lets see how often he "Thanks Jesus" after losses as a Denver QB !!

WHEN, repeat WHEN he does this if interviewed after a loss, can we expect an OP from you on the subject?

I would guess he will do just that after every game he plays, win, lose, or draw.

I don't like the media lovefest he gets, but he is who he is. I don't understand why people think he just puts on some facade when the camera is on him.

When Tim Tebow highlights come before Game 5 of the World Series highlights, what am I supposed to do? Not watch sports highlights?

You don't actually have to guess. I've watched him do it during pretty much every interview I've ever seen him involved in. Yes, even the ones after losses.

Alas, that doesn't quite allow for the silly bigotry so it never gets noted.

DENVER — In a brief statement to the media, longtime supporter Jesus H. Christ said that he will no longer reply in any way to Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Tim Tebow's incessant thanking.

Tebow has given thanks to Jesus sometimes up to 30 times per day ever since he was a small child. Jesus has always tried to say "You're welcome" in some way to each and every one of his devoted followers but after awhile, he grew tired of hearing from Tebow every time he safely put his pants on. "It's really hard to be Jesus and block out annoying people," said Jesus. "I hear everything. And really, you don't need to thank me for everything. Maybe you got that touchdown on your own, man.

Do you think I just sit around and watch every one of your games? No I didn't guide your missing cat home last week. And I didn't make Urban Meyer love you. And I certainly didn't make Brady Quinn into a suck machine. Sometimes these things happen naturally. I can't take credit for everything. And really, just thank me once a year. On Christmas. The way everybody else does. I'm cool with that."

Watch them. Just don't get your panties in a wad about it. Woo hoo, a popular player gets press.

You know how often Tiger Woods would finish out of the top 10 and still get 90% of the coverage of a golf tourney? Hell, he STILL gets 90% of the coverage even when he misses a freaking cut!

That's the way popularity works. And, given how little he's done on an NFL field thus far, yeah, it's over the top. But damn, I'm not going to get a bunch of sand in my pussy about it.

You're impressed with that display of pathetic envious bigotry?

Like I said, the personal derision of Tebow has turned into a kind of interesting tool for rational people. How people react to him tells us A LOT about the PEOPLE doing the reacting.

There is NOTHING this man has done to deserve your derision other than be a better human being than you.

I hope you realize how stupid and pathetic you sound right now. You and AlejandroinHouston sure do love bitching about what SOMEONE else who has NO significance in your life believes in. Grow the frick up and quit worrying about everyone else.

But there is also NOTHING he has done as an NFL quarterback to deserve all this attention.

Except be popular.

I don't think this is a phony marketing tool. But enough is freaking enough. He just pulled a game out of his arse that he sucked at for 3 1/2 quarters against a winless team that is deliberately trying to blow games so that they can get Andrew Luck.

It's not exactly "The Drive." But I'm sure ESPN will compare it to that because THAT'S WHAT THE TIM TEBOW FANS WANT TO HEAR.

+1000 I don't see how being sick of this shite makes you a hater. I have nothing against Tebow but it's way out of hand.

I pull for Tebow and like that an unconventional QB can be successful in NFL.

The "Thank Jesus" stuff might start coming after losses, or after he gets cut from team, so lets wait...

No "Thank Jesus" after Tebow's loss to Bama...

No "Thank Jesus": Tim Tebow's Interview After 2009 Alabama Loss

Yet, Tebow does have cult-like painted message on his cheeks and says "God Bless"...

He says "God bless" at the end. No one is going to "thank" anyone for a loss. But Tim is true to his faith regardless of the outcome. Stop being a fricking moron. Stick to the Politard board with your dumbass opinions.
