Records count when it comes to Qb's. His yards will go up, but passer rating will go down if constantly playing from behind.

Well the Saints are making the playoffs anyway this year. So your argument is irrelevant.

He was hurt a lot during his backup years i believe. just cuz he didn't play doesn't mean he wasn't hurt.

If you get hurt while only practicing, you should certainly have a great chance of being injured while in the real game.

As I am talking about Rodgers I am watching the replay of the Green Bay Arizona game on the NFL network and Rodgers is crushing it. looking every bit the part.

Kurt Warner is really starting to look his age, and Leinart is looking very good. At some point this season Leinart will take over as the starting QB.

Only if Warner is out due to injury.

This game could be an anomoly for Warner but he really looks like he has lost some skill. i would not be surprised to see him pulled at some point in the season. If Arizona comes out the gates and goes 2-4, he will get the hook IMO. If they are winning then of course he stays.

agree on Rodgers. If he has a better season then Brees I will be impressed. Im not saying its impossible but unlikely. And your "im not seeing a good season for the saints at all" will need at least a couple of reasons behind it.

Im not seeing a good season for USC at all either. I dont really believe this but its about as useless as your statement(ok maybe a tad bit to the extreme but the point remains).

Warner has a much better track record than leinhart, so he will get the benefit of the doubt.

I actually like the saints. I just think they are missing some pieces. Still weak at Linebacker. Should have drafted Cushing over Jenkins, then got Smith who looks to be the best corner of the bunch in the 2nd round.

True, but his age will be a concern. Once those skill go, they go quickly.

how many teams have looked better than the saints in the preseason. they've easily looked in the top 5.

This remains to be seen when referring to Warner.

I am not saying Brees will not make the Pro Bowl. I am just saying that I believe Rodgers will be better this season. Not to take anything away from Brees, but Rodgers to me looks to have taken that next step to being an elite QB.
