One of Utah's big signings in the off-season after rebuilding almost their entire team, starting fly half for Samoa kicking to US Eagle Joe Mano. Be nice to see Joe get back to form.
Utah beat LA and San Diego in preseason and they look to be carrying that over here in their first game.
Not over yet though this game is back and forth. Fun game though I think these defenses will tighten up as the season progresses.

Tough loss for NOLA after having been head 12-0 ended up losing by 5 points but at least they got the losing bonus point but missed out on the four try bonus point.
Doesn't get any easier next week as they stay on the road and travel over to Utah who had a very impressive showing against the hounds.

Week 3 matches kicking off tonight with Anthem again

Anthem came so close to winning that match but penalties and errors cost them. Number one draft pick Erich Storti continues to impress as does prior number one pick Sam Golla and Fly Half Line Latu who was playing the game at Fullback.
NOLA Gold vs Utah Warriors kicking off right now. Don't like how they have the DC vs San Diego game on at the same time.
Here's the Gold Line Up for today. Starting USA Eagles De Haas and Carty and 9 and 10 respectively.

Yeah it was a disappointing loss for sure especially since they should have been able to beat Miami the week earlier. Now the Gold have a bye week and then face yet another week on the road against defending Champs New England. Whoever made NOLA's schedule didn't do them any favors.
On the flip side can't believe that was Utah's first ever win versus NOLA and they now look like they're for real this year. Joe Mano with the hat trick trying to play his way back onto Scott Lawrence's Eagles Roster.
Houston edged out Seattle and looked like the better team for most of the match. Seattle now start out win less and with two loses.
But the shock result of the weekend was Chicago over New England. Few people had Chicago down to win after getting smoked by Utah a week earlier and nobody had them down to win the way they did. New England scoring a try in the final four minutes to avoid the shutout. That 6'4" Fullback, Michael Hand who started looked impressive. Announcers said he was USA qualified, looks to be an interesting prospect to keep your eyes on.
