Columbus finally blew it open late. Glad I doubled up on the -1 instead of just one unit on money line , especially since the Islanders fell. Hoping the Kings come through.

As for tomorrow, I don't have my laptop with me at the moment so I'm not going to bother trying to look at stats and things. But at first glance, the Devils should be the clear play. The line seems way off for some reason. I'm just trying to figure out what it could be without digging yet. I did take a quick glance.. Devils destroy people on the power play this year whole Edmonton is terrible at killing. Devils should have a small edge goaltending.

Jefforize, Can you think of any reason why this line is +140 for the Devils ?

Coyotes play a great first period, should be up 3-0, give up a goal with .9 seconds left. Tied 1-1 after one. This team...

You're faithful considering how bad that team is.

Hmm.

I havent a clue aside from perhaps recent history.

For instance perhaps Nj is 0-20 in their last 20 games in Edmonton

And people thinking nj will regress and edmonton will eventually stop being awful.

Either way id play nj +140 for sure. Taylor hall is gonna want to give his old team the business

Changed my mind. Devils pass most of the "basic stats" and the eye test. But the Oilers are dominating the league in Corsi and offensive zone start percentages while the Devils are way down at the bottom.

The only thing I'm wondering is whether Edmonton is manipulating those stats. They fire off a ton of shots and stay in the offensive zone. One weird thing...their shooting percentage is 5%... league average is 9.4. I haven't watched them so I don't know if they are firing off terrible shots from the point or if they are just having the worst luck in the league.

Yeah..they lead the league in shots but are last in goals .

Eventually that will even out. Edm isnt that bad but NJ is on fire

Yeah I didn't even glance at that game. Lightning had to drop another one eventually. The juice was way too high.

Guess I may leave this game alone unless I find a heat map of shots. If the Oilers are just chucking pucks from the blue line then you know it's a waste. You would think eventually they are due to explode.

Kings out to an early 2-0 lead. You gotta like the way they have started the year. May be the best all around team in the league with Quick, defense, and a solid offense.

They are nowhere near as bad as their record indicates. However their propensity for temporary insanity frick ups is amazing.

Ane now they are losing a game they should have 3-4 goals in.

Having raanta back should help...sorta.

Az does have a loyal fanbase and a lot of talented prospects. They really arent this bad but... someone has to fill the 31st spot

We will see if they hold on. Honestly I like both the Kings and Sharks right now. I will be jumping on them most games. They are really doing well with possession , but actually producing unlike some teams.

Agree. Ive changed my tune on the sharks. They're legit.

Burns hasnt even scored yet. Once he starts finding shooting lanes from the blue line..watch out.

Donskoi, jones, thornton, pavelski are all playing at a high level

The Blues are beatable. Nice of them to let everyone else in the league think they have a chance.

Last 2 people pinching and nobody covering.

Also my god the Yotes are incapable of scoring. They hit the goalie with the net gaping.
