I’d like to see art collector win so Brian Hernandez can get a Preakness win. I think he has a good shot based on the PP

They are prepping him for the breeders cup classic where he will face much better and more seasoned competition from the 4 and up age group

“Training up to the breeder’s cup”

Guessing the derby took a lot out of him. Hopefully Robbie gives sky a better ride than smith did. Also would like to see art collector do it (he’s looked good there).

Hell, who am I kidding? Anybody but baffert and I’m happy. I’d even take cheating saffie

After looking at the numbers. I don’t see any way authentic loses unless he gets hurt. Horse has won 4 straight 3m stakes races. Super impressive.

He’s running for more $ in the breeders cup, horse needs a break anyway

THousand words is dangerous if authentic and Swiss skydiver burn themselves out on the front end. Thousand word is the one nobody is talking about that also has the baffert juice

Trying to understand your reasoning. Thousand words has never won for more than 100k or ran longer than 9f. What are you seeing that I’m not.

Just because a horse has won a big purse doesn’t mean he’s faced a good field. Look at every 5 horse grade 1 in Cali

I think today we are looking at who can sit just off the pace. The front runners will go fast and authentic will presumably be challenged up front. So after that bunch burns out, who picks up the pieces?

Yeah I can see that for 1 win, but this horse has won 4 straight 3m and Before that a 1m stakes race. This is a beast of a horse.

Eh. He’s a beast at 1 1/8 and under and that’s being generous. The rest is the “baffert special”

FWIW, he’s looked pretty light since the derby. I hope it took a little out of him.

And I hope someone goes with him, even if sky ends up being the sacrificial lamb

Im over into mischief. He’s the new tapit. We need to not have everything g by him. I’m glad the jockey club is limiting books for studs. It’s not good for the breed to have everything by the same family
