Shoeless shoe, so you are saying that Bama or Ga have to win the SEC, and/or be perfect to the season, while OSU or USC,etc..can lose twice, should they win their title games...
Sounds more like welfare in spreading the four slots amongst the Power 5, than in truly pursuing the best four teams play for the Natty?

PSU and Wisky wins will not hide that trip to Iowa, nor that home L to OU where the Buckeyes were never in either game from jump street.

They don't need to hide anything. The Iowa game is the only reason Bama is in the discussion. It still might not be enough for Bama to overcome their weak resume.

The Oklahoma game isn't a good talking point for keeping Ohio State behind Bama. The Iowa loss is where that should be focused.

You see, but there in lies a serious sin, or happenstance. Because, whether caught flat-footed, or in just pulling a no-show off a monster game, OSU was raped by monster margin, to an average team(albeit same team same place where PSU shoulda coulda woulda went down)...
OSU players should be penalized for such..you must compete, can't take a week off.

They were. A lot of things needed to happen over the last few weeks for Ohio State to even be in this conversation. Those things happened, and here we are.
I don't think either team should be in, but if it comes down to Ohio State or Bama, it needs to be Ohio State.

And interestingly enough, Bama would be rewarded for doing exactly that and not playing an extra game.
I say we reward teams who actually have to play next week or find another team besides these two if we have to.
