So the cops were supposed to know that he did not have a gun in his vehicle?
Holy shite you are fricking stupid. It was a hypothetical scenario. You are changing the fricking narrative again jesus christ. If they actually saw him with a knife, before he got in his car, and they were 1 on 1 you could shoot him in the leg to incapacitate him over shooting him in the back. Jesus fricking christ you are a word twister.

I'm no blind supporter of the police, but what is this supposed to solve?
I'm going to need to here some real solutions instead of all this virtue.

quote:Irrelevant. Cops didn't know what he was reaching for at the time. Wanted felon who was non-compliant and unaffected by a taser who then opened his vehicle door in an attempt to retrieve something. They have to assume its a gun or risk their own lives being taken
This scenaeio never involved a gun. That changes the dynamic entirely. That would be retarded.

Irrelevant he should never have been allowed to reach for anything and should have already been detained.

Nothing is happening to those cops except for some virtue signaling bull shite.
Then the city will burn. They will be fired. That will be happening.

You don’t aim for a limb or any other body part while shooting, especially with a pistol.
Snipers can do that shite but they are excellent shots and have rifles which are extremely accurate to do that.
People are shitty shots than. If I'm less than 10 meters from somedbody I'm more than confident I can accurately hit their leg.

No there's just too many of you and one of me and I can't possibly respond to all your shite and the scenarios I have laid got conflated with a man with a gun somehow, which was retarded. Shooting someone in the leg was brought up for a 1 on 1 scenario with a man with a knife.

So you really don’t want to help your community. You’d rather post #thishastostop on twitter and feel like you did your part.

Disagree with all your opinions, but are you in favor of the NBA boycotting?

No i also vote for officials that think an officer should be paid 60k+ a year, require a criminal justice degree, and rigorous physical and mental examinations before being hired. (1+ year trainung) as a significant means of quality control for who gets to be an officer. I also try to not be an a-hole to cops.

Sounds expensive. That will be hard to do when we defund so many police forces around the country.

And cops shouldn’t be a-holes to the citizens. We know there incidents everywhere when this happens, and I am just as appalled in those cases as I am in my support for the cops actions in the Blake case.

This type of behavior was enabled by so many and everyone calling it out was mocked. It is a self fulfilling prophecy @mrperfect

Defunding is not bi-partisan, and while it willbpass in many cities it won't in a lot of others. I think paying officers more to attract better talent, increasing requirements to make sure they are educated (while also maybe paying for current officers to go get education) and longer training could grt bi partisan support and maybe adopted by a majority of departments nation-wide.

Yeah Blake's case is not Walter Scott. There's a lot of gray.
