It's not high, but it must be thick as cabbage.

A provisional does not cost you anything unless you have to play it. Then you play it as if you went back to re-tee. It is just a time saving thing.

High rough is overrated. Some of that stuff at the British Open is 4 feet high and you can still catch a good lie. This stuff is 2 inches deep and looks like some of the worst stuff I've ever seen.

If you hit one out of bounds of the tee box, is that stroke and distance?

No problem. You also have to announce it to your playing partners.

No doubt. All you have to do is watch these pros attempt to hit one out of this rough.

Yes. One out, two in, hitting three on the box. Basically, whatever you make with the second ball just add two.

So many hackers have no idea of the rules of this game.

Get a hacker to play by the rules and it will add 20 strokes to his round.

Brutal.

Lesson; hit the ball straight.

Very true. Most just drop a ball where it went out and take stroke. It's really better then them going back to,the box and pumping another OB.

Yes, I've hit 3 out of bounds in a row, just being hardheaded.

Afternoon.

It's been nice watching two days of golf without Faldo. The party's over.

This. So what they really shot a 102 instead of a 100. Going back to the tee when you're a 20 handicap is kind of unnecessary.
