On the surface we love A-list....But I will tell you that I just looked at my account history and it has been sort of hit or miss for me.

Basically you need to see 3 movies in a month to make it worth it. Well looking back over the last year I had 2 months were I did not go at all. There was one month I went to 4 movies. Six where I went to 3 movies and then 3 months were I went to 2 movies.

U put the average price at $12 as some were matinees and some were at night. Night movies here are $14.50 and matinees are $10.

2 is breaking even...
3 is being $12 ahead
4 is being $24 ahead.

I went to 28 movies in the calendar year. So I see that as $336 in value. I spent $264 with tax.

Wow prices are way different here. I just priced out a Dolby Cinema ticket which is the format I usually tend to see and it's $24.37 including tax for a night ticket. My A-list is literally slightly cheaper than that, so it takes me going once a month to really breakeven, but then a-list comes with other perks like discounts on concessions, buying tickets for other with no fees, freebies every so often, etc

A normal non Dolby ticket is $17.48. There are also cheaper tickets like discount tuesdays or maintee pricing but obviously strings attached when you can get those cheaper prices.

For me I go twice in a month and feel like I got huge value out of it. If I go 3 times in a month I feel like I'm way way way ahead
