I'm 22 and won't be buying a house for a long arse time. Mobility is too important in my job.

Advice: Don't buy a house as an investment. Only buy one if you want that lifestyle and realize it is an expense. If you buy a house you would want to live in forever I think you'd be better off than trying to get a "starter" home.

Do the Same
That buying a house is better then renting if you can afford it.

The house appraise for 290K in 2009 so I feel like my wife and I came out ahead. We refinanced last week for 3.75% which will save us 75K over the life of the loan.

Now is the best time to buy. If you can afford a 15 year term then you will be way ahead of the game.
