FYI: Dry Cleaners press shirts while damp on machines under some serious heat and pressure which can make the shirt seem like it has been starched.

You really don't believe they have employees with hand irons ironing shirts on ironing boards do you?

It’s a low margin business that she’ll probably come to hate, but if she can carve out a good clientele, she can do ok. It’s one of the few things I don’t farm out, personally. Friend of mine used to until their clothes came back reeking of cigarette smoke because it got farmed out to a subcontractor. Never used the service again.
