Close to 100% for me.
I took a job with the state out of college because I was already working there part time and figured that I could add some full time experience to my resume. I was single and could live pretty cheap.
After about a year, I left for a private company and nearly doubled my income. I think I went from making 28k to 55k. This was about 20 years ago now.
