Let me know your thoughts below:

My Roth IRA is MFS growth Class A.

Looking into American National or Fidelity Annuity's. Both rated well and good rates. 7-10 years fixed.

I’m never going to likely get behind an annuity for Roth assets.

Are you self managing this account? Your options sound like you’re currently using an advisor, considering another advisor plan, or going it alone with VOO/SPY.

No annuities
Whoever your advisor is, get rid of him.

Low cost SP 500 index fund - invest into it over a long period

You are welcome

I have an advisor currently.

I was looking at annuities on my own weighing options out. Thought it wasn't a bad rate for 7-10yrs.

The S&P 500 managed options I'd do alone; maybe $25-30K and let it ride for 20-25yrs.

What about annuities stray you away?

VOO/SPY/VTI were some of the low-cost funds I am looking at.

The rates quoted include some of your investment being paid back to you.

At least that's my understanding.

Tbh I don't know a whole ton about them and saw 6-7% return over 7-10 years.
