Just looking at the S&P - April (and that may have been earnings-related, IIRC) had about a 5% dip as well. This one is coming off all time highs, but I think that one did, too.

Going into late Summer, I would expect things to flatten out, but this could be the beginning of a true (and badly needed, IMHO) correction in the 12 to 15 percent range.

The current heat in equities is unsustainable without a (hopefully brief) pullback for the rest of this year.
