Thai Airways is being relisted on the Thai Stock Exchange on Monday, August 4th

I'm not sure when it will begin trading again on the OTC here in the states.
TAWNF went from $0.14 to $5.05 in one day in the spring of 2021 before they filed for bankruptcy. A huge chunk of the company is owned by the Thai government. I believe they went into debt after politicians gave their buddies jobs who didn't have any airline experience, then they couldn't recover after Covid hit. Now the company is back in the hands of people that know how to run an airline. Seven straight quarters of profit.

Thai Airways International Public Company (THAI) announced that it will be relisted on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), with stocks trade set to resume on August 4, 2025.
This marks a successful recovery following the Thai flag carrier’s announcement of its business rehabilitation plan in 2020. It also follows an order from the Central Bankruptcy Courton June 16, 2025 to conclude the company’s business rehabilitation process.
The airline said that its successful completion of the implementation under the business rehabilitation plan has transformed the company into a private entity “ready to instill confidence among shareholders and investors.”

I remember throwing some cash in TAWNF back in the day for shits and giggles. Still have it.
So what happens to it under this scenario? It’s trading at a penny right now.

It's not trading at all. Nobody can buy shares right now.

But it always returns to a penny. Today is the day we find out if it's back on the market in the US.

It just hit 25 cents. eTrade wouldn't allow me to buy any when it was at 7 cents earlier.

Hopefully fools buy buy buy… drive this up.
Will be a shot in the dark from a few years ago I can make some money off of. Actually forgot I threw money at it

I think only the institutions are buying it right now. Hopefully we see a real pop when the public can get some of it.

Up to 30 cents as of this morning

Don’t know what’s realistic with this stock. Figured it would closely align with Vietnam Airways and that looks to be in the 30-40 cent range from what I found.
Why would this go higher?
Why would this go higher?

Because they're making a profit every quarter now. Just hit 52 cents!
