Whats your thoughts on how TSLA is going to move this month/end of the year?

Right now it seems to be back to teetering up/under around yesterdays close $328.49 in the 328.80s, and opened in the high 335 range. Is it no new news that has stalled it? TIA

Who knows.
As soon as I think I have things figured out is usually when I get my arse kicked.
I'm not a financial advisor or professional, I'm just a yahoo trying to outperform the s&p.
I think there is a lot of risk come the first of the year in the market, especially the high flying tech stocks, because a lot of people are sitting on huge gains and waiting to sell until 2025 to delay taxes for a year.

As far as TSLA goes I have been shorting the rallies & buying the dips.
Has been working like a champ lately.
I shorted this morning on the pop using TSLQ and sold for a 5 percent gain, way too soon since TSLA continued to drop
Kicking myself for that one, could have made over 10 percent.
Bought the dip and went long using TSLL for a 4 percent gain.
No position right now in TSLA.

Thanks for your response. I'm a yahoo too just trying to learn to give myself something to do that I find intriguing.

This is what I was wondering. If it would be done before our after. I'm looking at short term, so just trying to avoid losing on a dump.

Yeah, take my opinions with a grain of salt.
I'm an amateur.
But I do think there are lot of people that are holding out for Jan 2. with their fingers crossed to delay paying taxes on huge gains.

Shorted the TSLA rally a little bit ago, again, and just dumped for a 2 percent gain.
I'm losing my nerve and locking in smaller and smaller gains

Blind leading the blind for sure, cause I'm not even an amateur. Good luck to you for sure!

I would think people would be selling off for taxes if harris had won, as she would have made some changes to taxes. Now its who knows, but I can see the new year approach in hopes that Trumps changes next year will be more beneficial to whats sold starting next year.

Shorting TSLA at the open is the gift that keeps on giving

The whole Musk/Trump bromance driving TSLA higher is getting tired.
Plus another Cyber Truck Recall didn't help matters any.
If you think selling is ramping up now, just wait until the tax year flips.

I’m up 96% on Tesla by holding since 1/2023. If you can beat that swing trading then more power to you, but you are playing with fire. I don’t intend to sell in my lifetime unless something drastic changes

I'm up 65% playing TSLQ/TSLL in the last week.
More than one way to skin a cat, hopefully we all win.
Closed my short and went long with TSLL @18.28...
Put my stop so I can't lose.
Not sure how I am playing with fire.
I ease into positions and once I'm in the green I set my stops.

To summarize, Norway is hitting everyone of these ups and downs perfectly for massive gains. Never loses, only wins.

I think I am buying into that theory, this is really AT as an alter

No one is picking a Tesla because of gas prices.
Tesla is also so much more than car sales

Cool, I made another 5 percent shorting TSLA today.
Bought the dip like a dummy and got stopped out for no gain/loss.
I hope all of the Elon Fan Boys keep buying the dip so I can keep shorting the rallies.

Good Luck Everyone, calling it a day

Hell if I know.
Anyone that questions the valuations of the market or a given stock is attacked.
I got attacked for shorting TSLA, and even when I'm proven correct the people keep attacking.
A logical response would be "Damn, you were right, I guess I should have shorted also".

Dang, I should have held on to my short position, TSLA is in freefall down 5.5% now.
People always learn the hard way that you haven't made a dime until you sell,
Like the old saying Bulls make money, Bears make money, Pigs get slaughtered.

When this thread was made, Tesla was trading around 280 or so

It's at 308 right now. So you know, only up 7%-8% or so over the last week

Gonna have to buy another TSLA call at open. Probably selling NVDA to do so.
