What did you not like? they seem very cheap so i figured there would be catch

the way they are set up is that you can do a "real-time" trade at any time for like $20, or you can set up a transaction to be executed at a specified time the following week. THAT is the transaction that is $4. And if you want to sell at all, you're stuck with the "real time" trade.

Col must've used them early on.
He is correct that the advertised cheaper trades are limited only to Tuesdays. What you do is set up an "automatic investment" in whatever stocks you wish to purchase, and your trades are done on Tuesdays. You can do this as often or as little as you wish.
Real-time trades are $9.95...so, while not "cheap", they aren't nearly as expensive as they first were.
I would say it's not a good site at all for a trader, but if you intend to slowly invest a little bit at a time it works well. I have an account with them.

Thanks man!
I have a acct. with Etrade but was looking for something to put like $200 a week into some of these stocks that are trading very low right now and might rebound in the next year or two... might be a bad idea don't know

I've had a Sharebuilder account for over 2 years, and I really like it.

I love tradeking $4.95 per trade no minimum balance, no hidden fees only $2000 for margin requirements.
