401k(s) ... not including match
Individual Investment Accounts
Savings Accounts (including MMA, HYS, T-Bills, etc.)
Real Estate - my wife and I use our savings to purchase and build rental homes ... I count that as savings as well.

I don't count the growth of existing accounts as savings. Only new deposits.

I don't do any sort of annuities or anything, but I guess you could count that as well.

I don't count money in my kids' 529s. I view that as their money as adults and not for the family.

I don't count the purchase of any depreciable personal use asset as savings.

ETA: I guess I count investments and savings as the same thing. Otherwise, there is no point in "saving" once you are maintaining whatever emergency fund (3 month, 6 month, 12 month) you are comfortable with. After that point, all of your savings should be investments.
