And my bank would definitely block multiple transactions.
I think mine would, as well. But, to be safe, I don't want to have to rely on them.

I'd unlink for now for sure. And probably move any btc/eth you have there
Very much agree.

it seems to be primarily impacting card purchases and only a few banks (mainly scotiabank, USAA). a few small credit unions were having issues, too.
my large purchases were direct from my account (not debit card). only had a few small credit purchases ($600 total and credit is easier to get reversed anyway), and I don't use the above banks, so hopefully I'll be spared from this non-sense.
Nevertheless, I recommend everyone keep an eye on their pending/posted transactions until this blows over.

Waaaaait.....did you wait for it to get back to your bank account first?
Maybe a little overzealous, though.

It wouldn’t let me unlink it till the transaction goes through

Okay. That was quick. Did you sell earlier?

Don't think I'm going to do Gemini. My bank is not in their list, so they require a wire transfer to verify the account. I'm not throwing money down the crapper for that, so I guess my coins will stay on Binance until Coinbase gets its shite together.

Update as of 9:37 AM PST on February 15, 2018 We are actively investigating some reports from our customers about unexpected credit or debit card charges appearing on their statements from previous Coinbase purchases. We can confirm that the unexpected charges are originating outside of our control, and are related to charges from previous purchases. To the best of our knowledge, these unexpected charges are not permanent and are in the process of being refunded. We are running joint investigations with all parties involved, and will provide updates as we receive them. We apologize for the trouble, and are working as quickly as possible to help anyone affected by this.

That's where they need to stay anyway. Only use coinbase as a fiat on ramp/off ramp.

No it hasn’t went through yet. But as soon as it does I’m cutting ties. Until till my alts gain.

I’m completly off of Coinbase now and am on Gemini.

I can afford to not be in crypto. I can’t afford for my shite to get stolen.

Does gemini report to IRS? you can send from Binance to Gemini?
Posted on 2/15/18 at 12:59 pm to Clint Torres
You can send from binance to any wallet address. That is the beauty of crypto.

I have an issue with Gemini. I had signed up in my wife's name, but used my email. For tax purposes, any income we may make off of this needs to fall under her.
Once I registered, I found that it was MY name that showed up in the top right corner, as though it pulled my name from my email. That's a little bit of an issue for me, nevermind that I can't link my bank account and would need to create a burner account just to use it.
I want to use them. They're just making it harder than it needs to be.

Maybe making it harder prevents the shite show that is Coinbase right now.
Coinbase is already way too corrupt and charges too many fees. Literally no reason to stay on Coinbase other than the convenience some have for already being on it.

The resistance for ETH is ridiculous right now.
17.7m USD just to get from 930->1000.
Meanwhile BTC is decoupling in a big way.

I have some btc in coinbase and bought through a Bank of America account. Should I be worried? Where should I move my btc to?

Yeah, I don't necessarily disagree.
