it's worth discussing how miners control most of BTC's price movement, or at least have historically

quote:

Miner capitulation
This chart shows the last cycles side-by-side along with indicators for when there was halvening and then the blocks since difficulty bottom.

around a 2000% (ish) increase from bottom would be commensurate with the downward slope line which is where we are now (and would also imply about a 400% increase from the bottom next cycle).

this is the main thing I think that indicates our location in the cycle. I think institutional money will just raise the floor to some degree and slow the descent.

This irrationality will likely last longer than most think and I feel most the dollars will stay circulating in the crypto ecosystem (back into BTC/ETH) rather than cashed out into fiat like in 2018. Which is why I feel it important to note the total crypto market cap, currently at ATH.

BTC ranging in the 50s until a catalyst sucks money from alts back into BTC or a catalyst sucks money out of crypto altogether

USDC is issued by coinbase.

its more reliable than tether because coinbase is actually audited and regulated but still something to consider.

It's probably more safe than our actual dollar but

Heads up , apparently this is needed to withdraw funds off Celsius

Also, please send us a video of yourself verbally requesting the withdrawal and holding the document that you used during the KYC verification process and a piece of paper with the current date and your request written on it.

conversely, this chart indicates:

LINK

1. we arent even in a bubble phase of the cycle yet and this is actually organic

2. the fiat exit in 2018 was an anomaly (this supports an earlier posters assertion)

3. 1.2m / btc by 2025

I’ve withdrawn low 5 figures from Celsius a couple times and never had to do that, just a standard KYC and email verification

I never had to do that. Moved it to blockfi as well. Only had to wait the 24 hr period of a new address and then sent it right on over.

yea blockfi does that too

it's actually a good security measure

hackers were accessing people's emails. finding old photos. then sending those images in and then withdrawaling

it's annoying but I understand why they do it

that chart shows what most think. end of summer slow down to a bear/flat market around september. then a hold until 2024 halving cycel.

for selfish reasons though I hope the market goes very bearish in sept and we see a huge huge pull back.

I haven't withdrawn from nexo yet, what's their process like?

Also have been thinking of buying nexo tokens. Whats that process if you want to exchange back to something else? Makes it seem once you have nexo you're stuck with it.

as of last month, i was just able to withdrawal without any extra steps

i havent exchanged any of my nexo tokens but i think there is a swap on the nexo app you can use? i just let everything sit in the account

to buy nexo i had to use metamask which was annoying

Nexo now has an exchange option but it doesn't allow you to swap for nexo tokens or to swap your nexo tokens for something else. I've only swapped for nexo tokens so far using changelly which I assume you can use to swap back
