Why You Should Buy $500 in DOGE as Dogecoin Prices Rocket

Meanwhile in real crypto money making news.

Despite notching 115% gains year-to-date (YTD), Bitcoin has still underperformed the 360% collective rise enjoyed by altcoins.

Enter Dogecoin: The Memecoin of the Generation
Meanwhile, Dogecoin has gone further. YTD, the currency is up 2,800%.

Core to this rise was Dogecoin’s $600 million starting market capitalization — a tiny fish in today’s ocean of cryptocurrencies.

like you went on a forum and proudly claimed doge had the same use case as bitcoin

you can never recover from that one lol

It’s getting more and more evident you have no idea what you are talking about so you speak in generalities.

I mean he can characterize it however he wants, I’m in no way attached to doge. While a meme, it’s fundamental use case is as a currency. BTC’s fundamental use case is to be a currency. Obviously it’s now a store of value, but it doesn’t change its origin.

I tried Bittrex. After going through all the steps to set up an account on it tells me "this market is currently not available to you"

What’s the take with LTC?

LTC is in a constant state of development. It has staying power and will eventually come out of the fray. One of the biggest things working against it is the creator, Charlie Lee, sold all of his holdings back in 2017. While his intentions were good -wanted LTC to be able to stand on its own and be truly decentralized- it didn’t go over well with the average enthusiast.

LTC has usually been ahead of the innovation curve, specifically against BTC. As I mentioned earlier it was first to segwit and first on the lightning network. The foundation works non-stop. The latest development is mimblewimble, which you can read about here LINK

quote:

The MimbleWimble Extension Block upgrade will improve key features that Litecoin lacks – fungibility and privacy. The MimbleWimble testnet was launched in October 2020 and the code has been battle-tested over the past five months.

The protocol, named after a fictional Harry Potter spell, uses confidential transactions. It allows senders to encrypt the number of coins to be sent using “blinding factors” while obfuscating the addresses. This vastly improves the privacy of the blockchain while also enhancing its scalability.

quote:

Fungibility introduces the concept that certain items could be mutually interchangeable — an example being one USD = $1. The same does not apply to cryptocurrencies, as historical transactions are all recorded on the blockchain. So, funds used for nefarious activities may be tarnished in some way.

MimbleWimble solves this by using extension blocks. These are essentially interconnected adjacent chains running next to Litecoin’s main chain. It’s an optional feature for users that want additional privacy and fungibility for their LTC transactions.

Make no mistake, LTC will never pass BTC and will never be BTC. It doesn’t aim to be BTC. But the staying power is there

I can't fault anyone that lost faith in IOTA. The shite that project went through was unreal.
