You still have not explained why this country cannot default. Just because many commodities are currently being traded in dollars doesn't mean shite. If we continue to print dollars to attempt to cove our debt then not only will we suffer massive deflation in the markets, we will also suffer massive hyper- inflation of products at the same time. In other words we'll be working for pennies & won't be able to buy bread. Your such a fricking idiot you can't figure out that the train can & will crash. What is the down side of not continuing to finance a mismanaged company like Citigroup? they have purposely attempted to steal from many good bill paying americans. They deserve to go belly up just like GE Money bank. Yet we will continue to bank roll their fraudulent business practices until our dollar becomes worthless/ of course, just because the dollar becomes wothless doesn't mean we're in default. You have unexplained that so bafflingly brilliantly.
