re: New Car Tax Deduction

I bought a used car from private seller and paid taxes/registration fees at dmv.

I am using turbotax but unclear if I can include this under the vehicle registration fees (It does show up on the vehicle registration)? Is the sales tax considered a part of the registration fee or would I have to enter this under the estimated sales tax section (if it goes here it tells me i should take the standard deduction so it does me no good?
