So it's pretty common for most partners to put in more than 60 hours in the office, at least in the big law firms in NYC, DC, Chicago, etc?
Ouch. This just reaffirms that I don't want to devote my life to the practice of law

Keep in mind that this is a largely self-selected group of folks, made up mostly of hypercompetitive perfectionists who want to win so bad they really don't mind working 60+ hours a week.
