Anyone work with any of the new companies like redfin, clever, etc?

Not interested in paying 6%.

Ideas?

just keep in mind that buy-side commission plays an important factor -- so if you pay 6% roughly half would go to buyer's agent

so SOMEtimes you'll end up needing to pay that half anyway ... and SOMEtimes this could result in your property getting less exposure

Maybe do a listing appointment with one and then do an appointment with an agent from a traditional brokerage and compare the service/cost/opportunity cost

If in BR, call Paige Knobles.

She's awesome and does full listing for 3.5% total.

*im a house flipper and have used dozens of agents. Paige is the best and coincidentally also the cheapest.

Just closed on selling a property about 2 hours ago.

We use a traditional realtor because she is a f*cking BAD arse. This buyer and her realtor (and subsequently the appraiser) were a complete nightmare.

Our realtor kept the train on the tracks and got us to close while rebuking all of the buyer's ridiculous demands.

We've used her for other transactions that were pretty smooth, yet even then--was phenomenal.

Worth her weight in gold and then some.

i know that feel ..... man

it's hard to describe how much of a difference a GREAT Realtor can make and how much a BAD one can cost you in time, energy, negotiating dollars etc. etc.
