just curious what the MT thought about these two local investors: eiad asbahi and andy anderson.

Interesting listen. Both seem to have no clue at times although Anderson's knowledge of HF econmics is laughable.

i like the part when anderson is trying to get eiad's net return out of him, but eiad backed away from the topic due to sec regulations. Then anderson said something of the nature, "Your not regulated, you can say what you returned." But eiad didnt bite.

It's funny listening to them because both wanted to make each other look like an idiot, but both came away sounding dumb.

Anderson refrenced a 2009 BR business report were Walter mentioned running a background check on portfolio managers before investing. One of the few points they actually agreed upon.

i like the i am "warren buffet " type investor, and Anderson calls him out for not discussing his positions, because buffett is very open about his positions.

I'm not a fan of all the investors and HF guys who claim to follow in buffet's and graham's exact footsteps. I like to see some inovative and original thougths/investments ideas but that's just my opinion.
