Life Insurance Database

Afternoon team,
My father passed Friday and he told me he has a small policy and where it would be kept and didn't say who it was with and evidently it's not there.
My sister lived with him and she does not know either.
Is there a place I can submit his info and policy search?

If you are executor or have access to bank records, check for monthly, quarterly or annual premiums being paid.

Sorry for your loss. You can try the NAIC Life insurance policy locator. I did it last year when my dad passed just to make sure there wasn't some policy out there that I wasn't aware of.

He didn't have a will and I was power of attorney but that ends at death evidently.
It looks like bank statements I have in hand don't show a premium taken out but it maybe a policy he bought years ago just to bury him.
I'll look into it at the database listed above.
