I'm illiterate on this... What happens now? $TXMD is bought.

So I have a moderate position in $TXMD and it obviously has been tanking for like a year or something.
Well today it was revealed it's been bought by another healthcare company at $10 a share. So the price is up like 360% today.
But my question is what happens to my shares here going forward? Do I just sell because this is how high it's ever going to be under this ticker?
Or will it become shares in the buying company?
Or will it trade like normally going forward? Or maybe just for a period of time?
I'm just trying to understand and this is my first stock where the company has been bought outright.
Any insight is appreciated!

If they are paying cash, your brokerage will convert for you. If they are paying with shares, you will get those shares in your account.
If the deal is definitely going through the share price should be very close to 10, and you can drop em. Sometimes it takes years, and the stock won't move up or down until the sale completes.
