It looks like my home may be zoned commercial in the near future. My neighbor came to me very panicked and it kind of threw me off. I always thought it was good to be zoned commercial due to property value increasing. Is this something I should be worried about?

I think the worry would be that some buys your neighbor's property and puts in a cheap stripcenter. (and not the good kind of "strip" center)

I live off of Kaliste Saloom road near River Ranch. I already had a new apartment complex go up directly across the street from my house. I wouldnt think it would get any worse.

That is exactly what I was thinking. Im not the sentimental type at all. They can bulldoze my house all they want to if the price is right.

If it got zoned commercial, chances are it isn't on some idyllic lake.

Absolutely no idea where that is.

I agree with the others. Sell. But don't try to gouge or you will end up being the last house on the street.
