Like everything else they’ve been getting hammered for the past year. Probably not a bad time to jump in.

VNQ - Vanguard Real Estate ETF. Low fees; backed by Vanguard. 3 Star Morningstar rating.

MORT - A Mortgage REIT ETF. Basically; they make money by owning single family home mortgages. When the mortgages get paid; so do shareholders. Higher fees; probably somewhat riskier overall if loan’s default. Like any other REIT it’s legally obligated to return its profits to the shareholders. Pays solid quarterly dividends. It’s at a low point right now. With mortgage rates increasing I think there’s a lot of upside here; but, you’ll need to be patient.
