Anyone know of a formula or an agreed upon number for calculating the amount of consumer spending in a market needed to create one job.
For instance I read, but it wasn’t sourced that $57,641 of tourism spending creates one job within the city I live. Can anyone here point me in a direction where I can make a direct comparison between tourism spending and the number of jobs linked to each dollar?
Thanks in advance.

Sounds like something that IMPLAN could analyze, but you would have to pay to get what you are looking for here probably.
