This is so true, its not really brag worthy but my wife recently got a new honda pilot that I was putting the down payment on and I said my only rule is that you can't post about it on facebook. It about killed her to not make that post.
From I everything I know about wealthy people, the truly rich people don't give a shite about the look of being rich. They already know that they are. Their kids on the other hand...

File this among one of the many reasons I chuckle at the hand ringing over throwing some money at people with kids and stimulus checks. At the end of 2017, after 7 consecutive years of economic expansion and near full employment, congress passes a tax bill with incentives like this.
I blame no one for taking advantage of this, but the policy rationale for this change to the tax code at the end of 2017 is awfully flimsy.
