I truly pity individuals who are presently trying to build their own personal home.

There are few competent and honest subs in the workforce.

You are going to have to use the ones who are not competent and probably not honorable.

Raw material suppliers don't care about one-and-done sales.

Code enforcement folks are rarely helpful, usually they are the opposite of helpful.

They are frustrated due to being horribly busy and post-COVID issues.

If a spouse is involved, the natural issues that come up between individuals as to taste and priorities create discord between couples.

There is absolutely no way I would attempt to build right now.
